Schedule of Classes
2010
Our classes are held as single events (demos) or as a weekly, one night per week series. Basic Cake Decorating is one night per week for 6 weeks and the separate sessions begin on the dates below.
Intermediate Cake Decorating is a 6-week course, again one night per week with session dates beginning on the dates below. Rolled Fondant is a 3-night course, held one night each week on the dates noted below. All other classes are normally one session

Basic Cake Decorating Class
Classes meet for 6 sessions, same time each week. Learn to make those
impressive cakes you've always admired. We'll cover icing, color, borders,
basket weave, pattern transfer, an of course "The Rose". Listed to the
right is the starting date of each individual 6-week sessions. Class
Limited to 15 students
10% discount on supplies or any merchandise in the store
(except already discount merchandise). Begins one week before class series
begins and ends last night of class.

Intermediate Cake Decorating
Classes meet for 6 sessions, same time each week. Advance your skills to
master new decorating techniques. Enjoy learning fancy borders and
garlands, royal icing flowers, color flow, lace points flowered
royal heart arches,
lattice, cornelli, and how to assemble a lovely tier cake. Class Limited
to 15 Students
10% discount on supplies or
any merchandise in the store (except already discount merchandise). Begins
one week before class series begins and ends last night of class.
Pre-Requisite: Basic Cake Decorating or knowledge of.

Elaborate and Unique Borders and Designs In this class you will learn elaborate and
unique techniques to decorate the sides, edges and tops of your cakes.
Meets weekly for 4 weeks.

Pre-Requisite: Basic Cake Decorating and Intermediate Cake Decorating or knowledge of.

Buttercream Flowers Workshop
Enjoy learning to pipe an array of
beautiful buttercream flowers to enhance your cake decorating. The
poinsettia, holly, mums, jonquil, pansy, lilly of the valley,
forget-me-not, and the daisy are just some of the flowers taught in
class.

Rose Workshop
This class is designed for beginners as well
as the experienced decorator. Several different techniques will be used to
make buttercream roses.

Rolled Fondant Class
Class meets for 3 weeks - one night per week
Classes will be held in three sessions.
Working with ready made fondant icing, students will cover and border a
cake, use Crimpers, and make fondant-icing decorations. This icing gives
your cake a distinct and elegant look. You will create a unique novelty
cake. NOTE: Check class supply list for cost of materials and icing needed
for class.

Basic Candy Making Demo
It’s so easy to make delicious candy
treats and gifts. Samples included. Each demonstration teaches
the basics with additional special instructions for the featured holiday.

Children's Candy Making Class
In this hands-on class, children
will create a variety of chocolate candy. Children will learn
how to work with a candy mold, dip and decorate pretzels, make candy
cups, plus much more. Each child will take home a full box of
chocolates plus a candy mold. All supplies furnished.
Recommended for ages 6-16.

Wedding, Shower, and Party Treats
It's so easy to make delicious
candy treats and gifts for a wedding, shower or party. Chocolate
dipped strawberries, cream cheese mints, chocolate pretzels, barks,
plus much more will be featured. You'll learn ideas for
displaying and packaging your treats for that special occasion.

This demo is all about EGGS.
